Castle Cary Museum opens again on Saturday 9th April

Castle Cary Museum will re-open this Saturday 9 April 2022 at 10 am.

Plus: Coffee, Raffle, Bric-a-Brac, Cake stall, Local History Book stall and a chance to become a Friend of the Museum and/or volunteer to help by becoming a steward – or in other ways.

The Museum is having a makeover. The reception area now tells the history of the town, while the upper rooms have been greatly enhanced and present a rich and amusing collection of weird and wonderful bygones. (Work still in progress)

Currently our opening hours are:

Weekdays 10.30 – 12.30 and 2 – 4 pm

Saturdays 10.30 – 12.30

When we know the schedule of building works planned for the Market House – we hope to extend these hours.

The Museum is a registered charity, and admission is free.

Donations are always welcome!
