Vacancy for Deputy Town Clerk
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a deputy Clerk for Castle Cary Town Council 18hrs per week.
We are looking for someone who has experience in administration and the enthusiasm to help take our progressive Council forward into new opportunities in the Local Government sector reorganisation.
The salary is LC1 scale point 7 – 12 (£22,369 – £24,496 pro rata) dependent on experience with a minimum working week of 18hrs to include one evening meeting most months.
This new postholder will report to the Town Clerk.
The closing date is Friday 6th January at noon and interviews will be held on Tuesday 17th January.
