Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month at 2pm at All Saints’ Church Castle Cary: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.
April’s music is inspired by the sea: from sailing boats to sea creatures, mariners to hornpipes, and the sea itself in all its changing moods. Along with arrangements of traditional folk melodies there will be music by Bridge, Quilter, Ireland and Gershwin.
The concert lasts c45m. Entrance is free with donations invited. No need to book, but turn up early to be sure of a table as these events are very popular. All ages welcome, including children.
