Trio Paradis play a café concert on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month at 2pm at All Saints’ Church Castle Cary: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.
May’s programme is a collection of mostly Romantic music inspired by love and flights of fancy, from Schumann’s Fantasiestucke op88 pieces by Alice Verne-Bredt, Schubert and others.
The concert lasts c45m. Entrance is free with donations invited. No need to book, but turn up early for best choice of pew!
