Are you unemployed or economically inactive? Are you keen to learn new skills whilst enjoying the great outdoors with a small group of people in a supportive and inclusive environment?
The course will give you a chance to learn a range of traditional Somerset rural crafts, including willow weaving, basket making, green woodworking and ceramics. The course will help you to learn new skills, build confidence, and help you towards volunteering and employment opportunites, and further learning. Based at our wonderful nature reserve, the courses will be led by Carymoor’s Education Manager, Karen Boswell.
The four day courses will take place from 10am until 4pm on the following dates. Please only book if you can attend all four dates in the same week.
