Based on our beautiful nature reserve close to Castle Cary, we are offering people with dementia and their families the chance to join us for afternoons of nature-based activities. You can take part in nature walks, gardening tasks and arts and craft activities and it’s an opportunity to get outdoors, unwind, listen to the birds and make new friends.
The sessions are free to join, and we provide drinks and biscuits. If the weather is poor, we have the option of indoor activities in our strawbale house, complete with a cosy woodburner.
Due to the nature of the site and activities this group is most suitable for those people who have a reasonable level of mobility.
If you’d like more information or would like to book a place, please contact jackie.gage@carymoor.org.uk or call us on 01963 350143.
