Trio Paradis play a café concert on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month at 2pm at All Saints’ Church Castle Cary: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.
February’s music is inspired by aspects of time and includes Ravel’s suite from L’Heure Espagnole, Grieg Morning and Circulo by Spanish composer Turina, a short trio with three movements: Dawn, Midday and Evening.
Concert lasts c45m. Entrance is free with donations invited. No need to book, but turn up early to be sure of a table as these events are very popular. All ages welcome, including children.
