Councillor Mike Lewis

We are very sad to announce the death of Councillor Mike Lewis. Mike was a District & County Councillor for many years and last year he was elected as the member for the new Somerset Council.  Mike could not have worked harder for his residents and his support for Parish Councils and our Town Council was always friendly and understanding and he made every effort to make a difference where he could.  

Castle Cary Town Council will miss his loyalty, his advice and above all his sense of commitment and fun. Mike had a life of service as a community and youth worker and as a Councillor.  

He was a devoted family man and our thoughts, prayers and love go to his wife Pauline and his children and all the family.
