Castle Cary Town Council Co-option notice

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A TOWN COUNCILLOR AND HELP TO MAKE CASTLE CARY A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE?

We currently have three vacancies on Castle Cary Town Council, which the Council will be seeking to fill by co-option.

This is a process whereby the Council considers applications from interested persons and can then select applicants to fill the vacancy.

If you are interested in becoming a Town Councillor, please write to the Town Council including a brief resume of no more than 250 words which indicates:
• why you would like to become a councillor
• how your knowledge and/or experience would help you in your work as a Town Councillor.

The deadline for written applications is Monday 9th October 2023.

Applicants will be expected to attend for an interview prior to the Town Council meeting on Monday 16th October 2023.
